Volkswagen has redesigned its most popular car in the U.S. in the Jetta — a sedan that's all-new for its seventh generation. The Jetta is built on Volkswagen's MQB platform, which underpins everything from the Golf all the way up to the Atlas SUV, and it drives pretty well in other cars.

We've actually driven a camouflaged version of this car and that drove pretty well, too — good news for enthusiasts. If you look at styling, wheelbase is up about 1.3 inches or so, and other major dimensions have increased slightly — and the Jetta was already one of the larger compact cars in its class, so it's surely even more so now.
