    the 800 adventure xlp is based on the mercedes-amg g63 and is powered by the same twin-turbo 4.0-liter v-8, but, thanks to larger turbochargers, its output is increased to 800 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque. brabus claims that this behemoth will get to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds—almost a full second slower than we tested a standard g63—although the brabus's top speed is limited to 130 mph due to the huge off-road tires and higher center of gravity. it'll sound obnoxious, too. brabus equipped its high-performance side-exit exhaust system with its boost xtra sound kit for the bypass valve.

    to slap a steel and carbon pickup bed on the back of a standard g-wagen, brabus had to stretch the wheelbase by 20 inches, ultimately making the truck 27.1 inches longer than it originally was. in addition to the lengthened wheelbase, the 800 adventure xlp rides a lot higher than a standard g-class. it's equipped with brabus's newly designed suspension with portal axles. the coil-over suspension kit allows for a 19.2-inch ground clearance and can be controlled via the stock mercedes dynamic select system including ride height.

    the truck pictured above is fitted with an optional luggage rack on the roof as well as a carbon wind deflector with four led lights mounted on the front. the wheels are upgraded to 22-inch monoblock hs wheels with eight-lug pattern to fit the portal axles and are wrapped in 325/55 pirelli scorpion atr all-terrain tires. and there's an optional takeoff and landing bed for a 150-mph electrically powered drone from the german manufacturer wingcopter. casual.

    and it's a brabus, meaning customers can fully customize the interior with any color they want, because brabus has its own upholstery shop. additionally, the interior features aluminum pedals, door-lock pins, and paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
