Chevrolet is commemorating 50 years of the toy company with a special edition 2018 Camaro. This isn't the first full-scale Hot Wheels Camaro, as some might remember the blue Hot Wheels package offered on the previous generation.
For 2018, the Hot Wheels package comes in Crush orange, a vibrant orange that replicates the color of the famous orange tracks that many of us have launched countless cars off down a flight of stairs or while jumping the great couch-cushion canyon.
The package includes a long list of appearance goodies. The orange bodywork is highlighted by Satin Graphite stripes, ground effects and 20-inch wheels. Behind those wheels are orange brake calipers. There are also unique Hot Wheels fender badges and a black taillight panel with the Hot Wheels emblem.
The Chevrolet emblems are black on this car, and on the inside is black leather with orange inserts and orange accent stitching. There are Hot Wheel badges on the steering wheel and illuminated door-sill plates with yet more Hot Wheels badging.
The 50th Anniversary Edition Hot Wheels package will be available on coupes and convertibles in 2LT and 2SS trims, as well as on the drag-racing special COPO Camaro that was also on display at SEMA.
The package goes on sale in the first quarter of 2018 for $4,995.
