Loads of other automakers are flooding the market with tiny SUVs, so it was only a matter of time before Hyundai joined in. The new Kona wears Hyundai 's hallmark trapezoid grille, but that's where the styling similarities end. Its tiny slitlike headlights and rugged-looking side body cladding are design cues not seen elsewhere in Hyundai 's lineup. Overall, it wears a much more adventurous look than the rest of the automaker's vehicles.
The adventure continues inside the Kona with a cabin dressed in two-tone surfaces with bright color pops. A 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility is standard; an 8-inch unit is optional.
The 2018 Hyundai Kona arrives in early 2018. Watch the video for more.
