arnold schwarzenegger and teenage climate activist greta thunberg may be unlikely buddies, but if you look at them simply as a pair of europeans who share a strong interest in climate change, it starts to make sense. in fact, the actor confessed he was "starstruck" at meeting thunberg in may. now he has arranged for the 16-year-old to have an electric car to ferry her to various protest events around the u.s. and canada this month.
sadly, "getting his electric hummer across the country would be quite a challenge so it isn't his personal car," the spokesman said. "it's a tesla model 3."
schwarzenegger's spokesman told c/d that arnold had asked the young activist to call "if she needed anything." since she needed help arranging transportation around north america, he volunteered to help arrange for her to get a more climate-friendly ev during her stay. now, the spokesman said, thanks to schwarzenegger's assistance "greta can travel fully electric through the united states and canada."
